Crop x Ball-Gown Skirt

Salaam aleikum beauties, there's a saying that goes, "Playing dress up begins at age 5 and never truly ends" i do not know who said it but i agree everyday. Sometimes you just want to be extra dressed up, and this outfit for me is tres (very) elegant.

I'm wearing a two-piece set that is made of a stripped crop top,(featured before on my blog) and a skirt that is fit for nothing less than a ball. It's big and has pockets which for me helps when taking pictures to avoid the awkward hand situation and i feel like there's a sense of confidence,you feel so sure of yourself. No outfit is complete without accessories and since we're going for the completely dress up look, more is more. I added a necklace,some bangles all which are gold, if you're wearing gold, stick to gold all through, do not mix silver and gold and vice versa. Not forgetting your clutch of course. A turquoise hijab to add a pop of colour, btw the urge to wear black was soo real. The next time you have a wedding to go to and you're tired of the same old dirac or kaftan why not try a two-piece set like this, which btw is so fun to play with,i'll tell you how. Buy different tops e.g a sequins top,a lace top or even a plain top but very accessorized and i promise it will seem like a different dress to different occasions. You are welcome.
