My best part about my job is the fact that
it’s a very challenging and unpredictable in that It pushes me out of my

representing my Department in a conference in Nairobi. It has also opened very
many opportunities for me and given me a lot of positive exposure.
Unpredictability could be both good and
bad.
Good in that I get to learn and develop new
skills every now and then. Bad because sometimes I am home late or travelling
for training and summits. This affects my classes and my work - family balance.

9. What characteristic do you most admire in
other women, career women or otherwise?
I admire women who support other women. Who
build each other up and not take their fellow women as competition. It is said behind
every successful man is a woman but behind every successful woman is a tribe of
other women who have her back.
10. What’s the best piece of advice you have
ever received in your life and what advice would you give to girls who look up
to you?
Best advice I have ever received is to
always give your best in everything you do and pray. Overthinking or stressing will never get
anything done but deprive you of your present.
Advice I would give to young girls is do not
be deceived by other people’s lives on social media. Most of it is a facade. Do
not compare yourself with others. Just do you and be you. Hard-work, determination
and consistency will always pay off. And most importantly, Pray.
